Sewage & Industrial Wastewater Treatment
Sewage and industrial wastewater plants designed around your effluent and your discharge or reuse requirements.
Overview
Overview
Effluents differ from one activity to another: a food plant is nothing like a chemical plant or a residential compound. There is no one-size-fits-all wastewater plant, and every successful design starts with understanding the nature of the effluent, its volume and how it varies through the day.
Aqua System delivers sewage and industrial wastewater treatment from design and supply through installation and operation, aiming for water that meets the required discharge conditions or is suitable for specific reuse, and supplies the chemicals used for pH control and disinfection.
Treatment stages
Treatment usually starts with preliminary screening and grit and oil removal, followed by equalisation to even out flow and load and correct pH. Biological treatment then converts organic matter into biomass that is settled out — or physico-chemical treatment is used for difficult industrial effluents — before final filtration and disinfection ahead of discharge or reuse, with treatment of the resulting sludge.
Industrial effluents
Industrial effluents can carry high organic loads, oils, metals or extreme pH. We define the chemical and physical treatment steps after studying samples and the plant’s real operating conditions.
Problems we solve
Challenges this service addresses
-
Non-compliant discharge
Effluent that does not meet the standards required for sewer or environmental discharge.
-
Odours and build-up
Bad smells and sludge accumulation in old or poorly designed basins.
-
Fluctuating industrial loads
Large variations in effluent volume and quality during the day.
-
Water that could be reused
Treated water that could serve irrigation or cooling is wasted.
System & treatment method
How the treatment works
-
Preliminary treatment
Screens and grit and oil removal.
-
Equalisation
Balances flow and load and corrects pH.
-
Biological or chemical treatment
Depending on the effluent.
-
Clarification
Separates biomass or chemical sludge.
-
Filtration and disinfection
Before discharge or reuse.

Engineering & implementation
How we deliver this service
-
01
Site survey & water analysis
We visit the site, review the water source, its analysis and end use, and agree with your team on the problem and the target.
-
02
Engineering design & selection
We define the treatment stages, capacity and equipment and submit a clear technical and commercial offer.
-
03
Supply
We supply the equipment, media and chemicals specified in the design and check them before they ship to site.
-
04
Installation & commissioning
We install the unit, connect its piping and control panel, then start it up and tune it until it delivers the target water quality.
-
05
Handover & training
We hand the plant over to your operators with hands-on guidance on daily operation and periodic washing.
-
06
Follow-up & technical support
We follow the plant's performance, supply consumables and spare parts and provide technical support when needed.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What information is needed to design a wastewater plant?
Daily effluent volume and its variation, the nature of the activity, any sample analyses, and where the treated water will be discharged or reused.
Can treated wastewater be reused?
For specific purposes such as irrigation or some cooling uses, provided the treatment stages are designed for it and applicable requirements are met.
Is industrial wastewater treated differently from sewage?
Yes. Industrial effluent may need additional chemical and physical treatment depending on its oils, metals or high organic load.
Do you supply operating chemicals?
Yes — caustic soda, hydrochloric acid and liquid chlorine for pH control and disinfection.
