Water Disinfection Solutions
The right disinfection stage for your use: chlorination with a residual, chemical-free UV, or ozone for special applications.
Overview
Overview
Disinfection is the stage that makes treated water microbiologically safe to use or store. Even perfectly clear water can carry bacteria, and it can be recontaminated in tanks and distribution networks if it is not protected.
Aqua System builds the right disinfection stage into the plants it delivers and supplies liquid chlorine for existing chlorination systems. The method is chosen according to how the water is used and stored and what the client requires.
Chlorination
The most widely used method: a controlled chlorine dose inactivates micro-organisms and leaves a residual that protects water in tanks and networks. It relies on correct dosing, contact time and monitoring of the residual.
Ultraviolet (UV)
Physical disinfection with no added chemicals and no change in taste, well suited to production lines and water that must stay chlorine-free. UV leaves no residual, so it is installed close to the point of use.
Ozone
A strong oxidant used in specific applications such as water bottling and certain industrial processes. It needs careful design of generation, injection and contact.
Problems we solve
Challenges this service addresses
-
Microbial contamination
Bacteria or micro-organisms in drinking or process water.
-
Recontamination in storage
Microbial growth in tanks and networks after treatment.
-
Uncontrolled chlorine dosing
Overdosing causes taste, odour and equipment damage; underdosing fails to disinfect.
-
Production quality requirements
Lines that need disinfected water without added chemicals.
System & treatment method
How the treatment works
-
Define use and risks
Water type, storage and end use.
-
Select the method
Chlorination, UV, ozone or a combination.
-
Dosing or exposure system
Chlorine dosing pump, UV unit or ozone generator.
-
Monitoring
Residual chlorine or unit operating indicators.

Advantages
Why choose this solution with Aqua System
-
Method-neutral advice
We recommend what suits your use, not one method for every case.
-
Part of the plant design
Disinfection is designed with the other stages, not bolted on.
-
Liquid chlorine supply
Regular chlorine supply for chlorination systems.
-
Controlled dosing
Doses that disinfect without excess.

Engineering & implementation
How we deliver this service
-
01
Site survey & water analysis
We visit the site, review the water source, its analysis and end use, and agree with your team on the problem and the target.
-
02
Engineering design & selection
We define the treatment stages, capacity and equipment and submit a clear technical and commercial offer.
-
03
Supply
We supply the equipment, media and chemicals specified in the design and check them before they ship to site.
-
04
Installation & commissioning
We install the unit, connect its piping and control panel, then start it up and tune it until it delivers the target water quality.
-
05
Handover & training
We hand the plant over to your operators with hands-on guidance on daily operation and periodic washing.
-
06
Follow-up & technical support
We follow the plant's performance, supply consumables and spare parts and provide technical support when needed.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Which is better, chlorine or UV?
Each has its role. Chlorine leaves a residual that protects tanks and networks; UV disinfects without chemicals but does not protect water once it leaves the unit. They are often used together.
Does chlorine harm RO membranes?
Yes. Chlorine is removed ahead of the membranes, typically with activated carbon, and the water is disinfected again after the plant if needed.
Do you supply chlorine only?
Yes, we supply liquid chlorine for clients' existing chlorination systems.
Does ozone need special design?
Yes. Dose, contact time and safe generation and injection must be calculated for each case.
